Background History
Shazza’s parents were a scientist and teacher respectively, married right out of college. Her father worked
on space missions creating blueprints and reliability of the ships that ventured out. A conspiracy would
eventually force him into an early retirement just in time for the birth of his only child, a daughter named
Shazza.
Shazza grew up with her head in the stars. Always looking ahead for a brighter future, she entered the
science profession to search for new Earth. Fearing the effects of war and pollution on the present Earth,
she helped operate an exhibition to terraforming the moon. Due to lack of funding and interest, the project
was soon shut down. But not after she met fellow science enthusiast, Scorpio Watanabe. The two would
lose contact for a few years after, but a change in Earth’s condition would bring the two together again.
After a series of quakes, water storms and wars in the early 21st century, governments were disbanded
and resources on Earth were nearly depleted. Civilization was a thing of the past. Space missions were
quickly put in place for anyone wanting to stay alive. While shopping for crews to join, Shazza came upon
an aged bug-like ship that resembled that of a spider. She named it the Black Widow and immediately
obtained the ship. Days later she would receive a call from an old friend offering co-pilot services.
Notable appearance: Curly brown hair; bright striking eyes
Personality: A quiet warrior, Shazza has a quick wit and a good head on her shoulders. She relies
heavily on her instinct and can become stubborn in trying obtain what she wants. Also skilled in hand to
hand combat, weaponry training and the martial arts.
Powers: None supernatural (other than heightened mental agility)
Enemies/Allies: Random pirates in space battling for earthly resources and food. Anyone threatening
her ship or crew.
Costume: Black sleeveless vest with purple velvet lining and small white stripes.
Weapons: The widow and a few firearms in her quarters.
